If you choose any modern touches for your wedding day, choose to do a first look! The idea of seeing your bride or groom for the first time at the altar is so old school. This tradition dates back to when marriages were a business deal, not a celebration of love. It was a not so romantic gesture to ensure the groom didn’t leave the bride at the altar; not exactly a sweet sentiment. I’m not sure when the “first look” trend began, but I am certainly grateful it has. There are so many reasons why I LOVE a first look, but I will share just a few for new.
